Traveling is a Brutality
“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.”
I’ve been home for 52 days now and the discontent for municipal living has sunk in. 52 days exposed to fighting, talks of suicide, excessive drinking and drug use, loss of jobs and an over all abomination towards this brilliant world.
I miss the TRAIL
With that said, I’m heading for Lower Alabama with my pair of work boots and newly remodeled camper shell. I’ll be living on a 60 acre organic farm owned by Appalachian Trail hiker River Rat. Here we will be working on a ecovillage pipe dream and part time with a landscaping/ nursery company in Auburn, AL. This location is 5 hours from a close childhood friend and New Orleans, a favorite U.S. city. 2 hours from Birmingham, Al. and the Gulf. 1 hour from Montgomery, Al. which i hear has a nice art/ music scene popping off.
We have a week long Canoe trip on the Tallapoosa River planed Nov. 12- 16. Bring a tent and come hang out!
Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.
THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT

Face Truth Humanity
I have experienced the true face of humanity on a path in the woods,
Its my hope that the interior of my soul shall reflect this,
a place where borders and boundaries are no more,
where neighbors become your brother and sisters,
and we all carry a light of adulation,
I have experienced the true face of humanity,
that can only be found in a peace of mind beyond my understanding,
In a world of truth and elegance,
away from distractions and hardships of long ago,
I have experienced the true face of humanity.
